Casio's first smart ring watch with functionality like stopwatch, flashing alarm, small light and other date, time and second time zone.
Casio marked its 50th year of watchmaking by announcing the release of CRW-001-1JR, a unique ring watch. Though we never expected a wearable watch ring from the house of CASIO. But it’s not a bad idea to keep one in your collection if you are die-hard CASIO watch collector.
Inspired from G-shock 5000 series, the watch comes with vintage aesthetics. Casio CRW-001-1JR is a fully functional watch with practical use case. It carries some prominent features like LCD display that shows time, date and a second time zone. And also includes a stopwatch, a flashing alarm, and a small light.
The stainless steel frame made using metal injection moulding provide good sturdiness and strength. The watch ring comes with a fixed 10.5 size. But if you have small fingers like me their is a hack. One can buy spacers to adjust the Casio watch ring in your finger. Powered by a replaceable battery with a two-year life span and is waterproof. Priced at approximately $128 (¥19,800), the CRW-001-1JR will be available in Japan starting December 2024, with no confirmed international release yet.
